Many of you have noted that I tend to emphasize the fact that ALICE was my very first book. When I say that, I do not mean my first published work or my first full novel, its my first time, pen to paper, not school related work. It was 100% on my own, without the help and knowledge I have gained since.
Why this is important is because I had no idea what I was doing way back then. It was a seat of the pants effort that took me 3 years of indecision and finally resolution to complete. The fact that it was so positively accepted is still a surprise for me today, raw as it is.
Perhaps it is in recognition of those early readers, that it bothers me the book is still so rough around the edges, even after the 2nd and 3rd editions. In an effort to address that, I had my editor do a review and based on his feed back have reworked the original.
ALICE 4th Edition has about 5% more content, clears up some parts of the story I thought to be obvious and should be a more polished read. The new content has been uploaded to Amazon and should be available soon. I am going to see if I can get Amazon to push it out as an update but they have funny rules about new content not being corrections.
